May		Gradation in Right Angle Weave – Beginner- $40.00 Caleb's Lighthouse-A Sea of Beads, St. Peters, MO 636-926-2323 www.calebslighthouse.com May 3, Saturday, 1-4 p.m. First you will learn the Right Angle Weave, while the stitch can be challenging this will add a great stitch to your beading arsenal. I will be sharing my formula for making gradual color transition. The crystal embellishment mimics the color transitions and adds a classy finish. Great fun with Right Angle Weave!
		Bead Crochet Bangle – Advanced – Class Limit of 3 students - $45.00 Lady Bug Beads, Webster Groves, MO 314-644-6140 www.ladybugbeads.net May 4 , Sunday 4:30 - 7:30 p.m. Here’s your opportunity to learn bead crochet. I’ve been working with students learning this skill for four years and have refined my approach so that the student walks away with hands on knowledge. As with a lot of skills, practice is a necessity and this is no exception, but after class you will have a technique to continue and grow. Please give one week advance notice if taking the class. I will make a start piece for you in your color choice. Purchase or bring to the store six distinctly different colors of 8° seed beads and leave them at the store for me to pickup. This starter has been the secret to my recent student’s success.
		Beaded Bead Bracelet – Beginner - $40.00 Caleb's Lighthouse-A Sea of Beads, St. Peters, MO 636-926-2323 www.calebslighthouse.com May 7, Wednesday 4:30- 7:30 p.m. The basic bead you will learn is the “Plum Blossom” bead that the Japanese have been making for centuries. I will also teach you variations on that by changing the number in bead groups, the size of bead and tucking in some seed beads for texture. Beaded beads don’t take many beads and you can create color combinations you rarely find in a single bead. They are great fun to make, in fact, I have found them to be a bit addictive.
		Graphic Peyote Cuff with a Crystal Crust – Intermediate - $40.00 Caleb's Lighthouse-A Sea of Beads, St. Peters, MO 636-926-2323 www.calebslighthouse.com May 10, Saturday 1-4 p.m. You have learned peyote, but want to do more than work the stitch. This class will get you dealing with pattern, enclosing a crystal in the work and making a fabulous crystal edging. There will be a little wire work as you create the hook closure yourself. Bring your wire working tools for this!
		Squared Geometry Linked Bracelet – Intermediate – Class Limit 5 of students - $40.00 Lady Bug Beads, Webster Groves, MO 314-644-6140 www.ladybugbeads.net May 15, Thursday 5-8 p.m. A study in geometry using the Squared Stitch. Using the square stitch, different geometric shapes are stitch by adding and subtracting a bead or two in a row as they are worked. Either know the basic square stitch or be a fast learner, because this class is about stretching that square stitch muscle to elevate that skill.
		Five Earrings in Three Hours – Beginner - $40.00 Caleb's Lighthouse-A Sea of Beads, St. Peters, MO 636-926-2323 www.calebslighthouse.com May 22, Thursday 4:30-7:30 p.m. In the three hours set aside for this class you will make five different earrings. The five second earring, simple hoop, hoop with a latch for an interchangeable style, drop and a wire chandelier. Think about the colors you wear and these three hours will yield a complete earring wardrobe. Wire wrapping will give you endless possibilities as you learn a few new moves in creating the five earring styles.
		Accelerated Beginners Beading Skills – A Workshop – Class Limit of 5 students - $50.00 Lady Bug Beads, Webster Groves, MO 314-644-6140 www.ladybugbeads.net May 18, Sunday 12-4 p.m. Four beginning skills are taught in this class; two strand stringing, peyote, loop stitch and coraling. If you are just starting out in the world of stitching with beads and want to have a good foundation in stitching skills and thread management this introduction will give you creativity wings. All of the skills taught are definitely beginner. The bracelet itself is deceptively complex looking, but the tasks are with in the range of any beginner. You will have a chance to learn the Zen of beading with seed beads and why so many are choosing this hobby as a form of relaxation and joy.

The formula applied in this bracelet for gradual color changes or blending will apply to other stitches students may know or will learn.
